unHappy the Clown

unHappy the Clown - I went through some different ideas, at one point I considered having the balloons be flowers and the circus's tightrope walker in the foreground, just with the tulle skirt and a bit of the back visible, cos I thought he'd probably be hopelessly in love with her, but as the work progressed I quite liked the solitude in the scene and decided to go for a more sort of still image from a movie kind of vibe. Especially the close up is quite cinematic, I think at least.
The outfit was made in Marvelous Designer fairly quickly. Most of the props are resources from around the web, the strength test I quickly modelled as well as the hammer and weight (which ended up not really visible due to the mist) and the popcorn I modelled as well from just a sphere with some displacement deformers.
